Project Management

Project Management Services

In addition to survey and inspection services, RCP Environmental offers the following abatement project management services

Abatement project design

The abatement scope of work is developed by an AHERA-Accredited Project Designer. It is based on the findings of the pre-renovation survey and presented as part of an overall abatement specification. It includes locations and quantities of materials to be abated based on the survey to define the scope of work. These are distributed to contractors as part of the contract documents.

Planning & Bid Period Services

RCP is available to conduct on-site pre-bid conferences and present the abatement scope of work and specifications to qualified prospective bidders for competitive quotes. RCP will help in assessments of bid submittals and contractor selection.

Construction Period

RCP provides project management and oversight during hazardous building materials abatement activities throughout the construction process. This includes air sampling and analysis in and around the work area to determine the effectiveness of the abatement contractors engineering controls.

Close Out Documentation

At the conclusion of the abatement project, RCP compiles a closeout document containing such things as air monitoring results, required contractor submittals, and proper disposal documentation.
